It's a well-known fact that I'm passionate about craft spirits - especially ones that come from my home state of North Carolina. It's a pleasure to introduce you to the Muddy River Distillery out of Belmont, NC. This is the first rum distillery in North Carolina. In just over a decade, the husband and wife team of distillers have crafted an enviable portfolio of award winners. Of course, I do have a favorite and I'm not shy about praising Queen Charlotte’s Reserve Rum! I'm delighted to share a few simple recipes using this mildly sweet, aged rum with vanilla and oak notes. These cocktails are easy to make at home, and are sure to #stiryourcuriousity.
