Chai This One screams bubbles in fall! The beautiful notes of Mezcal remind me of the first fire when the weather starts to cool. No chai tea in the cabinet? This simple recipe can be easily adapted for any of your favorite seasonal teas. Enjoy!
Keep the Doctor Away by Bob Peters
Fall is my favorite time of the year to enjoy cocktails. It's just a touch cooler out, so you're not just drinking out of thirst. Drinks get a little bit darker, a little bit more boozy. It's the perfect time to really savor the seasonal flavors. Some of these, like fresh-pressed apple cider, take me all the way back to my childhood.
Negroni by Bob Peters
Boozy, bitter, and slightly sweet, a Negroni might just be the perfect cocktail.
Princess Consuela Banana Hammock by Larisa Yanicak | Backstage Lounge
This was a fun experiment for me. I didn’t know how dulce de leche would work in a drink. I had recently been to Miami at a random bar where they had done something similar to whiskey. Normally with full proof spirits, the fat separates from the spirit. With fernet, it blended completely like iced coffee. The mint and bitter flavors immediately mellow and soften with the dulce. The sweet and spicy nature of the angels envy pairs well and then the soft tropical banana cordial rounds out the entire cocktail. Stone fruit and citrus bitters enhance the integrity of the cocktail giving it further depth.
